Everything is about my inner child today! Is it wrong if i want this? It's the new Netbook from ASUS with a Disney design. It comes in two designs: Magic Blue and Princess Pink. This would be a good idea since i sort of need a PC around my house just in case..... HK is not too Mac-friendly yet! But i m torn between the two designs... i m a sucker for princess themes hahaha ashamed to admit it... but on my fav movie lists is Cinderalla & Beauty and the Beast (pity that i lost both DVDs). However... anyone who knows me would know that i like everythign blue... so even if i do buy it i wouldn't know which one to choose!

I remember seeing this toilet seat a while back..... the design is modern but i though the concept behind it is more important. It reuses the toilet water that leaks out for pumping which you can use for washing your hands and saves up to 83% of water. It a green toilet. Though i didn't think much of this since most toilets in Japan have applied this design already and they have the advantage of those fancy seat heaters as well! So Japanese toilet are the best... Anywayz... reason i brought this up again is i saw this other design from the Ariel Rojo design house while browsing swissmiss. It's another of their green designs which combines the concept of money saving and energy conservation. I would really like to have that many piggy lamps in my room!

I miss those days when i can leave everything in my car and use a tiny purse that carries the essentials.... Now, i have to lug around all the items (ie: umbrella, cardigan, camera, sunglasses, sandles etc etc) in my bag all day long... which adds up to quite a load. It is not a good thing for my already screwed up back. To fix the problem, i have been looking around for lightweight bags... found one from LeSportsac but it's a bit too casual for work. Then i saw this from Loewe that has the design i have always been looking for... now i just hv to go see if it's too heavy for my back....and too expensive for my wallet!

I like how Kathleen is more educational whereas Blahblahblah is more sociable! Also tried analyzing Yumsterville but no digital trace was found! So u really do have to enter a "name" to trace your markings in the cyberworld!

The Twilight Saga: NEW MOON

So finally! Another new trailer hahhah i feel like a teenager again!! This is just perfect timing because i have just watched the Twilight movie again and finally figured out how Twilight is bad for you! It gives you unrealistically high expectations for unconditional love, regardless you are for "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob"..... Anyhow.... ENJOY!!! As the title suggest, this one is all about Jacob! This will have to do for now.... then we have to wait til December 17th to watch the real thing.... unlike the Americans who get to watch it a whole month earlier!

Bring Some Colours Into Your Life!

500 Colored Pencils from Felissimo

At first look..... i wasn't too intrigued by this project from Japan design house Felissimo. But as i read more about the concept behind the project, i can see how meaningful it is. The pencils are sent out in the interval of 25 pieces per month for 20 months. Its concept is for the users/designers to built their life stories/designs as they receive the orders depending of the colours received.... Other than this.... the coloured pencils can also be used as decorations with the aid of the display units also created by Felissimo!

Very interesting collaboration between Fiat and designer Fabio Novembre. They put together 20 life-size fiberglass Fiats with a tree planted inside each and parked them on Milan streets. It's a project called called Per fare un albero ‘To make a tree’. The team worked with the Municipality of Milan - Department of Design, Fashion and Events. We never have cool campaigns like this in HK...... but i guess if this happens in HK.... the cars will be stolen/vandalized within 24 hrs!

My iPod is doing weird things to me....it keeps playing songs that i haven't heard it ages and songs that always give me goosebumps.... This was my favorite song in Japan... also the one time in my life where i downloaded a ring tone.... Her voice is impeccable... She is married to one of the raising actors, 水嶋ヒロ, in Japan. Sadly, she has annouced for early retirement from singing due to Graves' Disease... Hope she recovers soon.... Ohhh... and we also share the same birthday!

I think by now everyone has heard about this line by Jil Sander for Uniqlo. Good News is the release date will be October 1st in US and October 2nd in Japan..... Bad News is no annoucement yet for Hong Kong release. More images avaliable from New York Magazine. Price range is very resonable for Jil Sander's minimalist design... Its a worth it just for Jil Sander's clean cuttings..... regardless of the material..... hope the items fit as good as they look!

Mr. Chow introduced me to this camera couple days ago.... and while i was searching for more information about it, i found this very interesting video they made for the European market.... They also made one for the Asia market.... which i thought was insteresting but not as much fun as the one for Europe. I really like the look of the camera (of course it's the most important criteria in choosing a camera) plus those really cool filter effects (the reason behind i want a SLR). But i thought it's heavier than i like....and also the peripherals are quite expensive.....

The Lovely Bones

Ohhhhh i wanna watchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember reading the book when i first arrived in Japan..... it wasn't my usual choice of leisure reading... but i was hooked to it and couldn't put it down! It would be interesting to see Ryan Gosling in it instead of Mark Wahlberg. Wonder how long we have to wait in HK....

Seems like snapshots of strangers on the street is branching into fields other than fashion.... although some say that cameras have became accessories themselves. Known for the extravagant styles, a Tokyo photographer started this blog photographing some of the cool cameras on the street. He doesn't even mind sharing the photos as well so here we are....pass it on!!!

One of the things that I coudn't enough of when i was in Japan, HONEY TOAST!!!!!! It might seem simple...but it's the most delicious thing in my culinary world! The Japanese are crazy about it and they serve it every where, including a chain Karaoke box called Pasela. They have a web page, Honey Toast Museum, devoted to Honey Toast. Although the honey toast is just a big loaf of white bread with honey and other toppings such as ice-cream, chocolate fugdge etc drizzled on top. But it is the way that they prepare it that makes it so delicious. I want to try making it at home...but my oven can't handle it....i ended up with just toast with honey...whereas with Honey Toast, it's a balance between the softness inside and crunchy outside of the bread. Ohhh just looking at it makes my mouth water!!!!!!

I was just talking to someone today about travelling...when i mentioned that if there's one place i can visit in Europe, it will be Greece. He started laughing and asking why is it cause he thinks it's overrated. It got me wondering, what is it about Greece that I like.... then i saw this hotel..... all i could say was ..... WOW...... Then i know it must be the blue and white that i really wanted to see in Greece.
